Diamonds Are Forever

Diamonds Are Forever - This film was the start of the more silly, unrealistic, humorous Bond films with over-the-top gadgetry, although it was quite good. Sean Connery is looking older now in this Bond film but not too old. In the film Bond travels to America to investigate smuggled diamonds. On the way Bond meets his main enemy again BLOFELD! The special effects are good for its time. The Good Points : The Fight scenes (the lift) , the women , the cars (the car chase is great) The Bad Points : Too Camp, Sean Connery is old , the music.

You Only Live Twice

You Only Live Twice - The film where Bond actually met Blofeld for the first time. And the first time that Bond actually got married. The film starts off with Bond faking his murder and going to Japan. Bond has almost plastic surgery to make him look Japanese and even wears a wig. At japan he finds out that a secret organisation is at the bottom of a volcano and is going to destory all spacecrafts. Bond with the help of lovely Bond Girl (named Kissy) set out to destroy the secret organisation, which later turns out to be s.p.e.c.t.r.e led by Bonds main enemie BLOFELD!!! My favourite scene would have to be Bond vs Japenese gangster. The scene has bond trying to defeat the man with any furniture he can find , which include a sofa.

Thunderball

ThunderBall - From the impressive opening to the fight at the end on the boat. This film has amazing special effects for its time(1965) . And of course again the bond girls and locations are nice to look at. Although there is a downside which is that most of the film is underwater scenes which do get a bit boring and repetetive. But apart from that the film is really good. My favourite scene is when Bond escapes a bunch of enemies on a jetpack (this sunt was done for real with a real jetpack!). Sean connery again is great with the great fight scenes which includes strangling some with a knife.

Goldfinger

Goldfinger - Four words - the Aston Martin DB5! A lovely car that James Bond uses to escape from enemies and ...well blow up nearly everything. Yes you guessed , this car is packed with gadgets machine guns , missiles and my personal favourite the ejector seat! This film is great and action packed. From the painted woman at the beggining to goldfinger being sucked out the window of an aeroplane - this film has everything. My favourite scene is when Goldfinger has captured Bond and has him strapped to a chair while a laser is going to cut him up (see picture above) Also this time Bond has to face a different villain - a weightlifter with a razor blade attatched to his bowler hat. Exciting stuff.

From Russia With Love

From Russia With Love - The second Bond film. And my second favourite Bond film EVER!! This film is a classic. The fights are gritty and realistic. The stunts are done well by hard- as- nails Sean Connery. But the best action sequence is on the train when it is Bond vs Red Grant in one of the most brutal, realistic, original fight scenes of all time.The acting is again great by Sean Connery and one of the most beautiful Bond Girls - Tatiana Romanova.

Dr No

Dr No - The first James Bond film. It is one of the best bond films despite how old it is (it was made in 1962!) Sean connery plays the role well and handles himself great in the fight scenes which look very real and tough. the Bond girls are great aswell , especially Honey Rider. The best action sequence is when Bond is escaping from his cell its very tense and very explosive. The acting is also great.
